PGDM IMMERSION PROGRAM AT IIM NAGPUR

At ASM, the endeavour is to bring the best from industry and academia to our students of PGDM. One such endeavour was the immersion program at IIM Nagpur, designed exclusively for ASM’s PGDM students.​

The week-long immersion program at IIM Nagpur was a blend of lectures by experts in the field, industry visits, interaction with industry partners, fun sports activities, and an extremely engaging knowledge-sharing session by various student committees.

The key takeaway from the entire program was the need to have in-depth skills and knowledge, to be self-driven, organized, and hardworking, and to focus on holistic learning.

The learning outcomes were perfectly matched to the learning objectives of ASM. Students came back totally enriched and motivated to take the business world by storm, and the institution sees a lot of learning the students have undergone.

Mindscape, ASM Group's flagship event, connects academia and industry through its Business Case Study Competition, where industry teams tackle real-world challenges for the coveted Winner’s Trophy.

Driven entirely by ASM students, the event offers hands-on experience in management and industry interaction, fostering essential skills and professional growth.

INCON

An International Conference that offers students firsthand exposure to the latest trends in business. INCON, the International Conference on Ongoing Research in Management and Information Technology, has partnered with renowned academic institutions such as the University of Pune, CETYS University (Mexico), City University of Seattle (USA), Indo-European Education Foundation Center, Vistula University (Poland), and many others over the years.

EVOLVE

An International Conference that offers students firsthand exposure to the latest trends in business. INCON, the International Conference on Ongoing Research in Management and Information Technology, has partnered with renowned academic institutions such as the University of Pune, CETYS University (Mexico), City University of Seattle (USA), Indo-European Education Foundation Center, Vistula University (Poland), and many others over the years.

PERCEPT

ASM's PERCEPT Case Study Competition, held annually, is a key part of ASM's 360-degree approach to case study competitions for all stakeholders. It stands out as no other B-school in India, including IIMs, conducts simultaneous case study competitions across all management specializations.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING YOUNG INDIANS CLUB

Young Indians (YI), a movement for Indian youth to lead, co-create, and shape India’s future, is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit organization driving India’s development.

ASM Group of Institutions collaborates with YI and CII to provide students with real-time industry exposure. This student-driven club empowers students to coordinate with guests and host industry-relevant events.

ROTRACT CLUB

The Rotaract Club brings together individuals aged 18 and above to exchange ideas with community leaders, develop leadership and professional skills, and engage in fun activities and events.

ASM’s Rotaract Club is a student-driven initiative that actively organizes events and activities, with enthusiastic participation from ASM students.

DANCE CLUB

Dance is an art that transcends mere body movement, expressing emotions that purify the soul and complete the music. It connects with the audience and fosters strong communication skills.

ASM’s Dance Club allows students to explore various dance forms while building discipline, confidence, attitude, and communication. It keeps students happy, rejuvenated, and energetic throughout the day.

TOASTMASTERS CLUB

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that enhances public speaking and leadership skills through its global network of clubs.

ASM collaborates with Toastmasters Club to help students improve their communication and interpersonal skills. Monthly table talk discussions enable students to become confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

SPORTS CLUB

The Sports Club promotes healthy sporting habits among students, fostering teamwork, discipline, and team spirit. It emphasizes the values of time management, precision, and competitiveness.

PGDM and MBA students actively organize and participate in sports activities like badminton, table tennis, volleyball, and cricket every Friday.

CSR CLUB

The CSR Club, inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Pachpande in January 2023, empowers students to contribute to society. It emphasizes that cooperation should go beyond profits.
