Different Value Added Certificate included in BBA

It is compulsory for all students to have minimum 75% attendance in all value added programs. Restrictive covenants, fines, internal assessments etc. are linked to ensure that all students avail the full benefits of highly professional job oriented skills imparted through these programs.

SAP-UA Certification

SAP is the worlds largest business software company and the third-highest revenue independent software provider. Doon Business School offers courses in the field of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with SAP R3- ECC Software. SAP R3- ECC is offered in collaboration with SAP University Alliances. BBA student, gets Hands on experience and 80 hrs training on SAP navigation in HR/ FICO/ MM and HR modules through the experts from the industry on real time data. After completing 80 hours of training, get a certificate of Training under SAP University Alliance. The exposure through SAP gives immense functional exposure in the international environment to the students on the theoretical concepts learned under the BBA curriculum.

Computerized Accounting : Tally ERP 9.0

Basic understanding and hands on operations on Tally 9.0 ERP through a 30 hrs intervention is given. Students implement the concepts learnt in the accounting classes on the computerized package . On completion of the course practical exam is conducted for those completing 75% attendance. Successful candidates are certified on the basis of their graded proficiency.

Advanced Computing

In the today’s digitized world its important to have efficient tools of advanced computing to be successful in business world. Students are exposed to the Softwares like Advanced XL, SPSS and Big Data management, which become an asset for lifetime for every BBA students at DBS.

Web Designing, SEO & Power Navigation

30 hrs certificate program on website designing, basic concepts on Search Engine Optimisation and efficient and power navigation on the internet is provided to all BBA students. On completion of the course practical exam is conducted for those completing 75% attendance. Successful candidates are certified on the basis of their graded proficiency.

NISM Capital Markets

This is a basic level programme for those who wish to either begin a career in the financial markets in India or simply learn the fundamentals of capital markets. The course is structured to help understand the basic concepts relating to different avenues of investment, the primary and the secondary market, the derivatives market and financial statement analysis. The Training is conducted by professionals from the industry / in house faculty. After about 30 hrs of intervention the qualifying candidates write the online test of National Stock Exchange and get the equivalent certificate of the respective module from NSE.

French Classes

French being the second most popular language for international community, being patronised as the foreign language for teaching in DBS group. Elementary French as per the syllabus of Alliance Francaise is taught in a 30 hr intervention. Written Test and followed with VIVA is conducted and the passing students get the pass certificate on elementary French. Others get the participation Certificate. The interested candidates can write an online test of Alliance Francaise on actual payment basis.

Business English

In the globalised world today proficiency in English language is very important to survive in international competition. Business English language intervention at DBS prepares students to develop proficiency in the language as they are made to appear for a test in the beginning of the second year. Students qualifying above the bench mark will be given French classes and the rest of the students will take Business English.

Social Media Marketing

A workshop on social media marketing is conducted to provide students with effective tools for how to effectively, efficiently and economically market various products and services through social media. On successful completion of the workshop students are provided with the graded certifications.

Banking Solutions: Work shop on banking solutions and operations are conducted by experienced bankers on various functions of banking like Treasury, Forex, Investments, etc. followed by certifying examination.

E-Commerce

Certification workshops are conducted for BBA students on various facets of designing and operations of the E-commerce Business. At the end of the workshop each student is expected to launch a fully integrated e commerce enterprise.

Entrepreneurship Incubation

Special workshops are conducted to induce , conceptualize and support the business ideas of the students and how to convert an idea into a large successful Company. The exercise integrates the conceptual learning under the various parts of the curriculum into practical aspects of launching new products and running successful enterprises.

Bank PO / MBA Entrance Training: As most of the students passing out of BBA either get absorbed in corporate directly after BBA or they try the competitive exams for PSU Banks or MBA entrance exams. For all such students Special Classes are conducted by the in-house faculty in the V semester and students are saved the trouble of taking additional coaching classes outside for competitive exams.

Career Development Cell

The CDC works closely with each student through out the tenure of three years to impart adequate soft skills training in each student to bring out the team payer, leadership and managerial qualities in each student. Further many companies are called to the campus for Final placements. Students looking for some work exposure after graduation before taking up the masters programme can sit for the in campus interviews. Every year about 70 Companies recruit UG/PG students from the campus and every eligible / interested student is able to a get a job through the campus itself.
